GUILIN has been famous since Tang times for its scenic location among a host of gnarled, two-hundred-metre-high rocky hills on the Li River, down which you can cruise to the village of Yangshuo. Despite being prone to tourist-driven inflation and hard-sell irritations, the city is an attractive place to spend a day while organizing a cruise downstream, with plenty of well-designed landscaping, shady avenues and rocky parkland.
The Mandarin International Golf Club & Resort is still under construction. It will eventually has 36 holes exclusive golf club and 15 villas (60 rooms) of boutique resort. The golf course designed by Harley Kruse from Australia, who was one of the Gregg Norman’s senior golf architect.
The 5,300,000 SQM site is located strategically on the east side of Zhenguiyang Road, south of Guilin. It is only 10 km from Guilin city, 38 km from Liangjiang International Airport or 30 km from Yangshuo.
The first golf course due for completion end of 2015, while the boutique resort will be completed in 2016
